Terms & conditions

We require a £10 deposit on all bookings, £100 deposit for weddings. This is a non-refundable deposit. 

We understand that sometimes things in life go wrong and in many circumstances we are able to reschedule your shoot or booking. 

If you cancel with more than 30 days’ notice then no additional fee is charged but you will lose your deposit.

22- 30 days’ notice, 25% of the remaining balance fee will be charged.

15 – 21 days’ notice, 50% of the remaining balance fee will be charged.

Less than 14 days’   notice and the full balance will be charged. 

For any events that require payment in full, in advance, this is non-refundable regardless of circumstances as this payment is to cover costs of goods or staffing required for the event. 

Due to demand we can't "hold" or "pencil" a date without a deposit. To reserve your date, we require a £100 non-refundable deposit. That date is then completely yours; we will not book another wedding on the same day as we want to give every couple our attention. We will arrange for your photographer to meet with you 4-6 weeks before the big day to confirm arrangements, discuss styles and any special requirements. 

The balance of the package is to be paid at this meeting. 

Our photographers liaise with the celebrant/ priest and venue in advance to ensure we know what we will be able to photograph for you as each venue has their own rules. 

We will do our very best to ensure we get a good mix of formal and candid images from the arrival of the groom, through the first kiss to the embarrassing speeches however, due to the nature of weddings, we cannot always guarantee to deliver any requested/ expected images. We simply guarantee every effort will be made. 

Of course, nothing in life is certain and we do have a cancellation policy. The £100 deposit paid to reserve the date is non-refundable. Should your assigned photographer be detained or unavailable for any reason we will ensure a replacement. Should you no longer require our services you need to contact us before the consultation meeting. Once the balance is paid a refund cannot be given. We advise all couples to seek wedding insurance which can help should things go wrong. We ensure all images are delivered to the couple within 6 weeks of the ceremony. All packages include the cost of the USB and delivery. 

All digital images and other digital material shall remain the exclusive copyrighted property of Paintbox Media Group and the client shall have no ownership or other rights in such images or other material. It is hereby expressly agreed that Paintbox Media Group shall have the exclusive right to use such images or other material for display, publication, competition or other purposes as determined in the sole discretion of Paintbox Media Group.

For weddings and events, upon delivery of a USB (or digital transfer) containing hi-resolution files, the client will receive a letter granting the client permission to produce copies directly from the USB; provided, however, that any and all copies shall only be for the private and personal use of the client, in no event shall the client or any other person, other than Paintbox Media Group, make any copies for the purpose of sale or publication and in no event shall the client or any other person, other than Paintbox Media Group, sell or publish any photographs or images provided by Paintbox Media Group (or any copies thereof). 

Business and head shot clients are granted consent from Paintbox Media Group to use their images for promotional purposes online and in physical format however this should not be for profiteering.
